Mein Hertz (My Heart)

In this serie initiated in 2021 shortly after the first Covid lockdown, I was Inspired by Winterreise, a song cycle composed by Franz Schubert in 1828. In these paintings, I explore the relationship between the protagonist wandering in the darkness of winter and his lonely heart.​
